DO YOU TRUST YOUR NEXT OF KIN OR BENEFICIARY ?- Odunze Reginald

In the book Rich Dad Poor dad, Robert Kiyosaki noted that there are so many ways, one can be rich, and he included the following, through inheritance, playing lottery, investing or by being a crook or an outlaw but there is a price, you risk going to jail. Kiyosaki  (1995:351) continuing he stated that ‘A great story must interest , excite and cause people to look into the future and dream a little, there should also be integrity behind the story, because our jails are filled with great story tellers without integrity”.
From this precursor above, it should be noted that through inheritance, one can actually becomes rich. Scam and con artist have long recognized and noticed that that they developed a format known as the universal format of next of kin. We are not interested in the universal format of next of kin that will be s study for future work but we are interested in managing your information as it regards your pension pot and your beneficiary, or purported next of year.

In the early part of this year, we were hit by the excruciating story of the death of the professor in a university in south southern Nigeria. The news had it that the old man retired, call his two children and wife, announcing about his retirement and sum total of his pension pot, noting that they  should thank God for bringing  him to the end of his working career , making promise on what he will do to his immediate family. They received  the news with joy, but alas, the children do not want that share, they wanted all, that night according to the news, the man was hacked to death. The rest are now history.

In article on mistakes million of pensioners make, which appeared in Reginald odunze.com, it was stated that one of the mistakes, is revealing pension information to their family members. Revealing pension information to family members and informing family members that they are designate next of kin or beneficiary , is big mistake on the part of the retiree, but I don ‘t blame them, it’s a sign of end time.

Revealing such information depicts an inner feeling and sharing of deepest hope fulfilled, which according to  Late prof Chinua  Achebe binds people together, especially family members, but the world has change, and I expect retiree to change with the world and desist from such revealing of information.

The world has change, so also should the retiree change and keep every information pertaining to their retirement, pension pot, designate beneficiary or next of kin  secret, by so doing he will doing himself a great service and ensuring  a happy and longer during retirement.
